The Milwaukee Youth Arts Center is a collaborative effort between two long-running and highly successful youth arts programs in Milwaukee.
First Stage Children's Theater and the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra – who have called Milwaukee home since 1987 and 1956 respectively – have long been educating young people in the arts. In 2002, the organizations came together to develop and launch the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center, a new non-profit corporation that would be fueled by the collaboration between the two organizations.
