Listen. Learn. Share. Act. And Thrive.
That's the mission of the Thrive National Symposium on Collaboration in Youth Arts Education, and it’s what we’ll be discussing on this blog. As you register to join the Thrive Symposium, you’ll be building our community. The more registrants, the more people you’ll see filling up this page. Together, we’ll face our challenges and share our success stories.
We’re all aware that in spite of how much we embrace and enjoy the impact that we're able to make in the lives of young performers, our arts education programs are faced with tremendous difficulties. Just surviving from year to year, month to month or even day to day can be a struggle. Of course, seeing the growth and the sparkle in the eyes of the children and young adults we work with makes it all worthwhile.
Still, in such hard economic times, we must do all we can to survive, learn, teach and foster for yet another day.
That’s why we’re hosting the Thrive National Symposium.
Thrive brings together some of the best and brightest. Our peers. Our leaders. Our action-takers and our dream-makers. We're coming together as a group to discuss and confront our problems and, most importantly, to uncover the real world solutions that will make a difference for all of our programs.
No matter our location. No matter our discipline. We can and we will succeed together.
Come back and visit us as we begin the collaboration and build momentum toward the kickoff of Thrive with this blog ... right up until we gather in Milwaukee.
